Currently Accepted Digital Impressions:
Uploading Cadent Itero Files:
Cadent iTero users can contact Cadent directly to have Ideal Dental Laboratory added to your list of “Favorite Labs”. In order to complete a case through Cadent iTero™ we need the following: the prescription scan, the antagonist or “opposing model” and partial bite. When we receive your digital data, we will mill your prescribed restoration; models are fabricated and then shipped to our lab to complete your restoration.
Uploading Lava Chairside Oral Scanner C.O.S. Files:
Lava Chairside Oral Scanner C.O.S users can contact 3M ESPE directly to have H&O Reliance Milling Center added to your list of “Favorites Labs” for margin marking. Indicate that your work will be completed by Ideal Dental Laboratory. Digital data will automatically be sent wirelessly to 3M ESPE, the digital impression refined, and model and removable dies milled ($20 data processing fee per patient to dentist, plus $10 for lab model). Models are then shipped to our lab for fabrication.
Uploading CEREC files through Cerec Connect:
To complete a CEREC case through CEREC Connect: the preparation scan, partial bite (V3.60) or buccal scan (V 3.65)(depending on what software you have installed), and the antagonist or “opposing scan”. Indicate that your work will be completed by Ideal Dental Laboratory. If you are a CEREC Connect user download instructions on how to add Precision Milling Center to your list of “Favorite Labs” by clicking here. Through the CEREC Connect, we can order a verification model.
When you send a case to Ideal Dental Laboratory, your prescription will be followed thoroughly and the case delivered on time. We enter your case into our quality control system to ensure your case is kept on schedule throughout its entire fabrication process. We employ an experienced team of managers and Certified Dental Technicians to ensure consistent quality standards, and you’ll find our friendly, knowledgeable customer and technical phone staff to be very helpful.
As technology is changing our industry, we are implementing more CAD/CAM technology into our process. This technology has proven to be reliable and efficient in making restorations with more consistent results. Thanks to CAD/CAM, we have made great strides in case-to-case consistency, and we hope that you are able to see that in our restorations.
